Is a “Zombies like mode” Coming to Modern Warfare 3?

There have been many details leaked about Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, one small morsel of the recent information leak included a feature called “Survival Mode”. With the first official reveal of the game on it’s way, information about the possibility of this mode is scarce at this point. But there’s no denying that fans of the Call of Duty franchise have eaten up Treyarch’s inclusion of the mode since World at War.This hasn’t stopped speculation from starting across various sites. Where current thoughts on “Survival Mode” place the game somewhere in the sweet spot between Treyarch’s Zombies mode, and Epic’s Horde Mode from Gears of War 2. There are rumored to be six survival mode maps which feature players working as a team to progress through areas where you’ll be taking down armed enemies instead of the more arcade inspired zombies of Black Ops.If recent information leaks are true, it looks like Call of Duty will have something to offer every type of gamer. The robust single player continuation of the Modern Warfare story-line, best in class multiplayer, the return of special ops missions, and the possibility of a zombies-esque game mode. That should be enough content in Modern Warfare 3 to keep you busy for at least a year, right? Post down what you think about this.
The Modern Warfare 3 leak was one of the biggest information leaks in gaming history. It was definitely a win for Kotaku, who managed to dig up a mountain of details on what is undoubtedly one of the biggest, if not the biggest game of the year – before it was even announced. However, according to Activision, it looks as if the leak may be turning into one big W for the company.Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg sent out a company wide email after the leak and subsequent game reveal. There is no doubt if Activision was looking to make big money they would add a zombie-like mode in. In a december 2010 poll 5 million people admitted to buying CoD black Ops for the zombie mode. So, if Activision wanted to make there pockets heavy so-to-say, why not add this in MW3?
